They are made from 15,000 year old Mammoth Tusk Ivory, taken from the outside area of the tusk which there is less of and has the "pattina" that everyone wants. Good thing PETA didn't exist 15,000 years ago! I do realy like elephants for some reason and it's ok with me if they keep thier own ivory but this guy had been dead a long time and every time I pick it up I think of him. I doubt anyone will think of me in another 15,000 years.
