The place is over run with them. Being a introduced critter they have any natrual preditor's "other than me" I surpose you could say they breed like rabbit's When you get 100+ in one area the build massive warrens "burrow complexs" just under the surface that with rain/time colaps then when it rains the water uses them as channels washing the dirt down into the valley's. I have seen cattle that have colaped them under there weight and died in the hole.
