A nice sunny day today (Tuesday) so out came the Winchester for a bit of target shooting, I usually use Bisley Practice pellets in it, but today it just wasn’t working well, so I had a look around for something else to try and found a tin of Crosman Matchpells which I had tried in other guns to no avail, first time in the Winchester and we are cooking on gas.
Date 22-04-2008
Time 2.20 pm
Gun Umarex Winchester 94
Pellets Crosman Matchpell .177
Sight Iron
10 Meters of hand
Time taken 4. ½ Minutes
Score 54

Mar,
How do you shoot so well with a pistol scope? I tried it on my Custom 2240 (Walther bull target barrel in .177) and could not hit the broad side of a barn from the inside! I gave up and have put a Walther red dot on it. Jury is still out on that combo.
I love shooting scopes on my rifles----mini-sniping etc----from a rest but off hand doesn't seem to work for me. |

First time I ever tried a scope on a pistol(since putting one on) and with my trigger mod things just work out well. I still would like a lighter trigger pull but the more I shoot it, the better it seems to get. That and these weekly target shoots. |

It has been real nice weather around here for a couple of weeks.
It sure is a pleasure to shoot and not freeze to death.
Total Points on this target
68
Benjiman Discovery .22 Cal.
Barska 6-24X42mm AO Scope
Gamo .22 14.2 gr. wadcutter pellets.
Time was just short of 14 min.
