I have a RWS model 36 pellet rifle. I took the sights off a long time ago to use a scope. I have never liked the scope but I lost the sights and have had to stay with the scope. Here lately I have seen several RWS models with fiber optic sights. I bought my son a Crossman Quest 1000X Pellet Rifle with some fiber optic sights last year so he could go squirrel hunting with me. I love the sights but the gun cannot hold a candle to my old RWS 36 as far as accuracy is concerened. I have looked hi and low for some fiber optic sights ("FO" from now on) for my RWS 36 but none are listed for it. Most of the FO sights I have seen on air guns are a sort of a boot the slip over the end of the barrel, so if newer RWS models have the same diameter of barrel as the 36, then I don't see why I could not use the same sight.
Can anyone help me with this? |

| Then do so, contact Umarex (RWS importer to the US). They should be able to send you one for free, if not they might cost you $20. |
