I'v been waiting on a refurb RWS 48 .22 caliber to come in at Umarex for a few weeks now and still no sign.
Started looking at a R9 Double Gold .177 with a Bushnell scope, but the only only one I can find has a Beeman scope(I think Chinese made).Thought of getting a regular R9 and get a Hawks Air Max 4-12x40 and muzzle break.
I also looked at a Tomahawk, but he said the one he had did'nt have an adjustable trigger and it was set around 4lbs.I want a lighter trigger than that.
Now I found some used air rifles,an Air Arms TX200 MK3 .177 for $495.00 and a Beeman RX2 .177 for $469.00.I'm itchin so bad to get an air rifle now and just totally confused on what to get.
I'm sure all the above would shoot very good for what I'd be doing, just plinking mostly. |

| The TX is a top notch gun. But if you like to tinker, why not get a cheap R9 and put in a JM kit and seal? Then you will have a great shooter that you can also take pride in knowing YOU brought it up to that level! And the Hawke is a great scope, got the smaller one on my R7. |

If your going for a springer you can’t do better than a TX.
I’ve shot an RX2 and there is no comparison also the Beeman was fitted with a gas ram but it still kicked.

Yes it is heavy over 9lb with scope, but it does stablise it. Anyway good luck with the R9.
