I have a pair of Daisy VL collectors kits that are consecutively numbered (1395 & 1396) and 100% complete and unfired in original hard cases. They have the names of father and son on the brass plate. Any ideas of the value of these? Would like to sell them but don't know how much too ask for them.
Thanks...Tony |

Hello Tony:
According to the "Blue Book of Airguns" one in excellent condition should be "worth" somewhere around $500-600 each. As yours have never been 'fired' I would think you could probably do better.
The problem is, of course, they are really only good as collector pieces, they need a funky pellet with powder behind it to be used "as designed"- but will still function as a regular springer, just weaker.
That being said, apparently only 4000 of the collector kit editions were produced, yours have not been fired- I'm thinking that to the right person you might get as much as $8-900 each for them. Start 'em at $750 each and see where you end up! |

Each Kit has the original 300 rounds of the ammo in it plus the original book and certificate and the wall cradles. Thank you AirGunEric for the reply. It will give me a place to start. |

Eric, you sound like one of the appraisers on PBS’s… Antiques Road Show… |
