1) Target to download and print: Week 62; Nov/18>Nov/23/2008

Print to full-size on an A4 or 8.5"x11" sheet of paper.
2) Shooting distance is 5m/16.4ft for pistols.
3) Shooting distance is 10m/32.8ft for rifles.
4) Any sighting device may be used.
5) NO rests or steadying aids are allowed.
6) 24 shots at targets, 4 per "box" maximum. 5 sighting/practice shots not on the clock using "green box".
7) 15 minutes total time (take whatever amount of time for each shot you like, but at 15 minutes-stop!).
8) Scoring: 10 point "box", 3 point "ring", and no points in white. Only four hits per "box" counts. Maximum point count is 240.
9) Please scan or photograph entries and post. Please list gun, pellet, sighting device and total time expended.
10) You can enter using both a pistol and a rifle as separate entries, but all rules must be followed for each.
11) Score your own target. Winner and Runner-Up will be verified by board officials.
12) An honorable contest for sport - to lie or cheat is the only real loser. Please keep it above-board!
13) Each competition runs from Monday to Sunday. Your entry must be posted in the forum no later than 23:00 GMT Sunday.
14) These rules are for this week's shooting competition and may change for others.

Pistol was down for a couple of days so I shot the rifle for a laugh, actually surprised myself.... not a true entry because I was only at 26 feet, but not bad for a scoped rifle centered at 30 yards...

Talon SS
26 Feet
Standing
Scoped - set at 6x
.177 Gamo Match Wads
Didn't time it but was def no more than 10 min.
155/240

Now for the qualifying entry:
P17
5M
Standing 2 hand
Red Dot scope (1x)
139/240
10ish minutes. (Just found a real timer but forgot to start it)

Oatring 180/240 Walther LG300XT 14 minutes (was hustling near the end, 24 shots in that time is quick!)

Missed the last 2 weeks because I've got the RIKA computer trainer on load, so I've been doing lots of practicing. Shooting lots of 10m, and have seen some improvement (I'm sure you'll let me know how you all think I'm doing...)
Didn't mind this target, very much like the 10m ones. Not like that star one where you weren't suppose to hit the middle!! Scoring seemed reasonable this time (no confusion) so I thought I'd have a go...

Nice shooting oatring, yes the stars were a bit confusing.
Looking at your target this week, when you printed it out did you set the printer to "fit to frame" or "fit to page" and set the page to A4, because the scan you have put up looks a bit small if it is printed on A4?

Thought my target looked a bit small.
I'll have to re-print it and re-shoot it.

Nice to think I could end up with a higher
score!! Now, if they'll only let me print
the 10m target bigger...

I just thought you were showing off Laughing
I actually spent a few minutes trying to figure how much better your score would have been but I gave up.

Nice shoot!
