Federal law requires that votes be counted in public, so my son and I went down to the courthouse to watch.
What we really went for was the free pizza. Yes, I know that my tax dollars already paid for it, but between the two of us we got our money's worth.
Ain't democracy wonderful?

No, but I did almost destroy the polling place. The booths have legs like you see on folding card tables, and the back two on my booth were not locked. |
