I got a very interesting phone call from CEO/owner David Ding of Leapers last week.
It seems he was at Crosman headquarters in New York state awhile back.
Maybe cutting new deals or something I did not ask what for.But shortly after I finished this Discovery I took it over to Leapers for a show and tell.
Dave fell in love with her at first sight and after firing it in his office with LDC attached,, he was amazed at how quiet it was.
Anyway while while at Crosman Corp. my Disco came up in the conversation,Dave told them he has a friend who did a customized version of one that was very impressive.( he asked me if I would build one like it for him but no follow up as of this writing)
To make a long story short Crosman wants some pictures of my Custom Discovery rifle.They will be done at Leapers where he has a photo studio devoted to advertising.David has asked me to bring the Disco to his studio for some promo pictures of my rifle.
So maybe we'll be seeing some pictures of her in some air gun ads from Crosman Corp or Leapers in the future.
I'm kind of excited to see what happens.But then again maybe nothing to it.

At this point and time I have no idea what the pic's will be used for. I was only asked if I would bring the rifle over to Leapers for a photo shoot.
I'll keep you posted,if I am asked to sign a release form there might something to it.

Congratulations on getting your Disco noticed!
Someone, somewhere (I don't remember who/what/where unfortunately) had suggested that the "CenterPoint" line of scopes (Crosman) are actually being made by/for Leapers. Don't know if this is true or not, however. |
