Hello:
Im new here and to be honest i only signed up to see if i could get some help in identifying an old dart gun of my youth.
About 25+ yrs ago i saw an advertisement for a sling shot/surgical tubing powered air gun. It was claimed to be able to shoot a wire dart through a 1/2" plywood sheet.
The design of the gun was interesting. It was almost as if the butt stock of the gun was to be pulled back to "cock" the gun, the dart was inserted and when the trigger was pressed the "stock" was forced forward by one or more rubber tubes which then created the air pressure to launch the dart.
If i remember right, the ad also listed several other types of darts for this gun all very similar to today's modern blow guns(stun dart, wire dart, hunting dart...etc.).
The ad was in some type of hunting mail order catalog.
I am looking for any information anyone might have on this gun, manufacturer's name, model, place where i can get more info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking You In Advance.

| If you could find a picture of it, that might help. The term "dart gun" gets tough to sort, what with all the kids toys with that name. |

I truly wish i could come up with a picture but, alas no love. I have searched on and off for this gun for a few years now but i have found nothing. This is turning out to be my "mystical unicorn". Thanks for the help though.
Thanks.
