Boy, incidents like this are not helping our cause when it comes to going up against Obama and his gun control position. But again, here we see another issue of an 8 year old having access to use firearms. Shocked

My 6 year old and my 10 year olds both shoot my firearms when
I am present, but are not allowed access to them otherwise. Plus,
I know that I can trust my kids behind my back.

Like the article stated, the kid most likely has other issues that
drove him to take out his dad.

The fact remains that an 8 year old should not have the option to use a firearm to "protect" himself, or god forbid, carry out his plan of revenge.

A trigger lock should've been on that gun.

Even if his dad was sexually molesting him, retaliating like this is not something that should be allowed. A kid should be told to seek help from some other trustworthy adult, not go on a kill crazy shooting rampage.

It's not right, but it's something everyone can understand. A dad like that pretty much deserves that kind of thing...

Well, whether or not a child molester deserves to be executed is another issue. But I'm not sure if any evidence has yet been produced to suggest that there was abuse going on here, let alone something as nefarious as sexual abuse.

Usually these types of murders are just plain senseless, and the child was not really acting out of self defense. There was a murder a while back where the 14 year old daughter and her 29 year old boyfriend murdered the mom because she said they couldn't go out any more. And its proof that even some kids are just as evil as any adult.
