I've found that I like the look of tactical airguns over (most) non tactical airguns. BSA Scorpion T-10 FX Typhoon These rifles are below 700 Euros (about $ 900,-) and known to be quite accurate. BSA barrels are of very good (read accurate) quality, and the FX Typhoon can be had with a Walther Lothar barrel. There are plenty of nice, and quite affordable PCP's out there. But I've always been curious as to how you get yours refiled and such. I know that for example Airforce guns can run off of pressurized air, nitrogen and now Co2. I understand besides the investment in the gun, that you'd also need to get a scuba tank as well. Unless of course you decide to go with either of the other two options. See, even though I live near the great lakes, and they are very large bodies of water... Just too blasted cold for a major scuba diving hobby in my area. Last time I checked, closest scuba shop is a full day trip away from me. Not all that convient. Then I'm also thinking, since I'm a welder, I could get Co2 or nitrogen from local welding supply store cheaper then a specailty scuba store anyways, and I've got one of those places 5 mintues from my house. I would however be concerned that I would be limiting the potential of any pcp gun by using a gas other then air. I'd love for someone that has a pcp gun that has perhaps tried running their gun using these different gasses and what type of performace they got was. For that money, they're not really the best guns around. That's mostly the problem with Daystates and Theobens. On terms of accuracy, the AA200 is at least as accurate. With a power tune it will outshout the other brands. They're likeable, I can tell, but what appeals to you in that specific rifle.
