It has lots of pictures of Texas Rangers and a two page spread of their commemorative BB Carbine with the Texas Rangers' shield on the receiver and stock. There is also a pair of Single Action Peacemaker BB guns with the shield on the handles. The guns were sold in 1973. (wouldn't I like to have them!) The booklet is in perfect condition. I found it at a garage sale for a dollar. I had an uncle that had been a Texas Ranger all his life. He came to visit once when I was a kid. I'll never forget how he showed us how his right arm was 2 inches shorter than his left from where a bullet took out some bone. He said it pissed him off that he had to learn how to draw and shoot with his left hand after that! Man they made men diferent back then. He was real old in 1950 so I'd guess he was a Ranger from 1890 -1940 or so? We like to make it a complicated process most of us arguing that "most questions fall into some gray area". But if we're honest with ourselves and boil any question down to what we should actually do, even though it's not a popular idea, they will fall into black or white. The problem is, often, if not usually, the "good" option doesn't turn out to be the easy option. Also, it's often not what we "want to do". I found a wallet with a few hundred dollars in it...there is an adress, but how do I really know it's theirs......? A little lie will get me ahead...why not? Any way, if the bully is beating up the little guy and I am at all able it always seemed to me you intervined. If my friend isn't eating and I have an extra loaf of bread... you get the idea. i know it's not always that easy, but my point is we can over think it and end up doing nothing.
