Here is the latest prototype in the Lab... Idea

It is unfinished but will be anodized black...
Direct fit by removing the tail plug from the 22xx...
I have a company about 40 miles from here that will be machining the kits:

The kit will include:
22xx ASA adapter
Gauge
Dummy Co2
2x Microline 90's
& Microline.

I have worked out the strength issues so now it will hold up to a 12oz tank.

Price and time lines are still yet to be determined.

I need more coffee... and then I got to wake up the rooster... Shocked

See you then. I'm off to try and snipe the neighbor's
morning skunk. I'm going to try and nail him with the
B26-2 and superdomes, but am taking the Condor and
some Kodiaks in case he's over 50 yards away.

I just have to make sure that he is not near any vehicles
and/or buildings as they usually tend to blow (cartwheel
and tumble while spraying) when shot.

Get the skunk in the back of the head with the Condor CW and it will be lights out. No spraying.

This is one of those times I really wish I had some machinist training. I do like what you've done. It's a very clean arangment compared to others that are out there. And since there's no other conversion I'll end up buying one down the road.

I would, if you don't mind like to make a suggestion on perhaps another potential way to do this.

Using Crosmans Exploded View of the parts list of the AS2250xt, if you take a look at the Piercing Block assembly (AS2250-016) the Adapter block (AS2250-002) was cut and threaded at a slight angle. If one were to make a modified adapter block where it was squared, then the adapter (AS2250-001) woulds screw into it straight. All one would have to do then is find the right connectors to screw a paint ball tank to this.

Taking this just a step further, one could make a beefier adapter already threaded to accept a paint ball tank.

I do like how you've added a pressure gauge. I would definetly add that feature too!

I do have to admit that the modification you've designed will fit and work with all the 22xx series. where as the one I'm thinking about is more specific to the 2250xt.

This one has a cold rolled steel insert for strength like we were discusing earlier.

HI..Very very nice Have thought about getting a 2250 but then I tell myself what the hell do I want one of them for!. Well I think seeing what you have done here has made up my mined A few used ones come up from time to time thik I will be into the next one I see.
Is the rear of the gun threaded or is there a spiget that the fitting fits over
i noticed there is a grub screw "holding it on to a spiget?"
Anyways VERY dam nice. I'm impressed and thats dam hard to do.

The one in the previous photo was prototype #2. It was 2 pieces. Hince the set screw...

#3 is in the field being tested. It is one piece. It replaces the tail plug in the gun and is held in by the rear sight screw and the rear grip frame screw.

The whole Idea here is to reduce the amount of adapters and mounts on many of the conversion jobs I have seen out there to just one.

Model #2 is in prototyping.... It's hush, hush till it is tested and produced.
It will be for all 22xx's and is a full on kit unlike anyting I have seen. It is not for the mechanicaly timid and requires some skill to install. An "Adapter only" version will be available for the AS2250xt that replaces the AS adapter compleatly.

I still don't have a time frame on production as everything needs testing for safety, fit and finish. I have let a few pices out for some beta testing budies to play with at cost + labor...

HI.. The adapter is very simple and compact. One thing I was wondering looking at the pics the snaploc fitting coming out of the adapter if you were to use a flow adjustable snaploc there you could back the flow down when you did not need full power "eg- target shooting" and save CO2.
