The skirt on them is pretty smooth and barren, and they don't follow the basic design principles of a Diabolo pellet. They look like like a rocket's exhaust port on the front- and I'm thinking that can't be so good.

That being said, maybe they work wonderfully if they are used in high-power rifles and criss-cross the sound 'barrier', but I'd question how accurate they would be in anything below that point.

Might be worth trying out just to see?

Those are interesting pellets and may be worth a try in anything but a springer. The review (second URL link) stated a weight range for the .22 cal. of 20.2 to 20.9 grains. That weight seems to be well beyond that recommended for spring powered airguns by most professional airgunsmiths including the esteemed Cardews.
A PCP or a "souped up" PCP may be just the thing for those pellets.

Makes me wish I had a PCP to try them in. If I keep thinking along that line I'll be in trouble for sure!

How about trying those pellets in your PCP and giving us your review?

Regards,

Amigo

amigo,
thats what i was thinking, and for only 8 bucks, its not a huge investment. what i found interesting in the article, was that the author says he did use them in a springer, but i tend to agree with you, seem really too heavy for that application.

Sunshine Airguns is my friend Jorge's shop. I am there every Saturday testing and playing and learning about airguns. I have met a lot of cool people there and Jorge is a great guy! Busy man so he is sometimes a little slow to answer. I tease him about his archaic website...he needs time and help that he has neither of! Those Shark pellets are made for high power PCP and Hpa guns, they will work in a co2 but the pressure limits of that gas make them really slow. Shot a few in a springer just for testing, not viable at all. I met Mr Galan there, he comes by every so often. Very nice man and a font of knowledge that I am lucky to know! What kind of gun are you plannig to use them in? And why can't you get them shipped to NZ?

Never saw these before, but reading about them I got aquainted with Shark rifles. Next time I'm ready to make a purchase of an air rifle I think I may go for one. I'll call them first...sa I don'y own a bulk fill gun and will need to get the low down on anything I need to fill them.
