| ok, how far will a .22 caliber pellet drop at 100 yards out of a 1000 fps air rifle?(it says it travels at 880 with the .22 cal pellet though) |

| What gun and what pellet? Some manufacturers "exaggerate" the specs on their guns a bit- using extremely lightweight pellets to get their velocity numbers. |

and im using flat(or pointed) led daisy .22 cal pellets, |

Really, it's just a matter of determining how long the projectile is in the air. If it goes 1000 fps then it can travel 100 yards (300 feet) in a little less than a third of a second. All objects fall at the same speed, so if anyone can find a chart on how far objects fall for every tenth of the first second, then that will give you an approximation.
But ballistic trajectory is different because the pellet is fired upwards against gravity in a parabolic arc, so the first part of the distance to the target it travels will counteract the distance it drops from the line of site.
It also depends on what range your rifle is zero'd at. If it is zeroed at 20 yard it will drop a lot more at a 100 yards than it would if you zero'd at 80 yards. Of course the pellet will fall the same distance regardless, but the POI will be very different, because of the angle upon which you are firing at the target. So what I'm saying is that I think that if you are zero'd at 50 yards, the POI will be 8 inches lower at 100 yards.
And I'm sure that made no sense to anyone, sorry. |

A 13.7 grain wadcutter {bc .01}, 880fps MV, drops 10 feet at 100 yards. Same pellet at 880fps MV drops 8 inches at 60 yards.
The Beeman dual cal is probably only doing 650fps MV with a 13.7 grain wadcutter, which would be closer to 20 feet of drop at 100 yards. |

The advertisement says "up to 850 FPS" (but probably slower). PyramidAir says the pellet is 14.3 grains. I couldn't find the ballistic coefficient for that pellet (how well the pellet slices through the air), so use 0.010 as a ballpark figure. Then go to this site and download the ballistics software:

I get 61 inches of drop at 100 yards - but that is useless, since it would be from a horizontal barrel. Your barrel will probably be tilted upwards slightly so the point of impact is the same as the aiming point at some range. It would be more useful to know how far above/below the point of aim - to know that you need to know at what range the gun is zeroed, and how far the sights are above the bore.
So the answer to "how far will a pellet fall at 100 yards" is: all the way. |

Yeah, I doubt many springers are pushing .22 cal lead at 1000 fps.
You gotta' keep in mind that an air rifle has a maximum range of usually 50-70 yards. So if your rifle is sighted in at its max range of 70 yards, the pellet will still keep going if permitted to. But the trajectory will pretty much go straight down once you pass the rifles max range. So I could see it dropping 5 feet if it was a low powered springer.
That's why you would have to angle it upward, change the trajectory, and try to lob it into the target. But with far more downward momentum, and hardly any forward velocity, the pellet will not have much energy. |

I used 13.7 grains because the Daisy wadcutters I've weighed, range between 13.5 and 13.9 with the majority in the 13.7 area. Of course, I've only weighed about 10~12 tins. Not sure how many tins exactly, since I poured several tins into a couple of Hornady boxes . . .  |

| ok , next thing, how far will a .177 pellet drop at 100 yards, at 1000 fps, (the reason i watned to know how far it would drop with a .22 was so i could compesate for it while aiming) out of the same rifle with daisy pellets |

You should download the software and plug in the values yourself. I don't say that to be insulting, but the best you would get is a hypothetical answer. There are too many variables, like pellet mass, ballistic coefficient, actual muzzle velocity (as opposed to what the manufacturer says), etc. Even with the numbers and the software you will only get a "best guess," which will have to be refined with trial and error until you hit what you're aiming at.
That, plus shooting at 100 yards is reaching into the twilight zone for a springer. The least little puff of wind can throw you off. Small differences between one pellet and the next (from the same tin) become important. Not to say you can't (or shouldn't) try, because it sure is fun when you connect with the target.
Your question is a lot like asking for a book that will teach you to sink 100% of your freethrows with a basketball. Playing with ballistics numbers is fun all by itself, but it's no substitute for pulling the trigger. Try keeping a journal where you record what you've discovered about your gun/pellets.
