I recently purchased a Beeman RS2 SS 1000 with bi-pod and Leopers 6-24x50mm scope, at 35 yrds its very accurate and at 75 I can hit a soda can most of the time. I have been using Gamo .177 PBA ammo only and I just seem to get stray shots sometimes? Also what type oil should I use and how often?

Next to dry fireing PBAs are the quickest way to stuff yer gun.
PBAs are way two light and don't give enough resistance letting the piston slam into the end of the chamber. Hope you have not put to meany though yer gun as the damage happens very quickly. And its a nice gun don't stuff it. PBAs are ok for CO2/PCP guns & sling shot ammo.
When they first came onto the market I was buying them for my boy to use in his chinese cheapy. It soon lost power when I pulled it down I found
the button that holds the seal on the piston was deformed and the port from the chamber to barrel had almost closed up on the chamber side becuase the piston was slaming into the end of the chamber to hard.
"USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK"

Your questions are a bit loaded: What type of oil depends on what exactly you are trying to lubricate. You don't want to use a combustible oil in the compression chamber or you will have detonation and problems down the road. A silicone-based oil works best for keeping the chamber/seal lubed in a spring gun, and 30-weight non-detergent engine oil for everywhere else- i.e. joints/pivots, trigger, etc.

As to what is the best pellet: that depends.

Look here as an example: http://www.airgunhome.com/agforum/viewtopic.php?t=1780

Nothing wrong with domed lead pellets- start with the cheaper ones (i.e. Crosman and Daisy) and work your way up to the more expensive units if none of the cheaper ones do the job very well.

There is more trial and error to finding the right pellet for a specific gun than anything else. Pellets people commonly find to be acceptable are the Crosman Premiers (especially those found in the 'brown box' of 1250 units):

PBA's are a gimmick to sell more guns. Don't expect to get
much accuracy out of them.

As for oil, just make sure that you don't get ANY in the comprssion
chamber and NEVER put ANY in the transfer port. To oil the piston
seal, the action has to be removed from the stock and one drop
placed directly on the back edge of the seal (every 5000-6000
shots or more).

I ordered some Wadcutter Match pellets, lead free 2 days ago that havent made it here yet. I hope they are more accurate but I am willing to pay whatever it cost for the most accurate ammo I can find.

I believe my gun has an oil port where the reciever meets the stock but I'll have to remove my scope.

That's not an Oil Port. That's a stop-pin insert. Mr. Green

And lead free pellets are often more expensive then they are accurate.

Why don't you try JSB's or something like that?

Contrary to some of the post's here,,Raptor PBA's are not a gimmick pellet, They are a Lead/Free light-weight pellet that does fill a niche, and as far as accuracy goe's,,I've had absolutely No Problem's with them in any of my gun's, and that goe's for Both Caliber's .22 as well as .177. Accuracy depend's on alot of variable's, and factor's that need to be taken into consideration's. For the most part, Quality goes hand in hand with Reputation. If you go with a quality European pellet, like H&N(One of my Favourite's),RSW, JSB, Kovohute, Crosman Premier's, and Gamo have definately come up in Quality in the last little while, I find Gamo Magnum's, and Masterpoint's to be an excellent plinking/pesting round. One bit of advice,,Use whatever your gun like's to shoot, and whatever get's you in the black on a consistant basis. What may be great in someone else's gun may be crap in your's,,alot of trial, and error, but if you're into using lead free in the field (as I am), then I suggest trying out Skenco, and RWS, as well as Prometheus, and in .177 especially, Try to find yourself some Daisy Lead/Free Field Point's,,I would have to say that they're one of the best pellet's you can use. Period!,,Cheer's, Andy.

I'd like to add that JSB has a hard time keeping up with sales. Their quality control went down a bit. I forgot that during my last post.
