Crosman G1 extreme
the original trigger pack frame broke, it broke where it is held on by the screw(broke clean off)
so i get a new one from crosman, i install it, then take ten shots eveything is great, so i install the Grt III trigger, back outside and it won't cock.
i put the stock trigger back together still won't cock.
i can get it to cock with the stock off, then i put the stock back on and fire it and the trigger pack is smashed all the way back and the trigger frame is bent where it broke the first time???
i have dis and reassebled it and fired it three times and it does this each time.
what am i missing? |

You need to have the trigger pack installed as far forward as it will go and bolted down, tight- use Loctite between the hold-down bolt shoulder and the hold down tab on the trigger pack.
If you installed any sort of spacers around the spring, eliminate some of them- you have likely put too many in place.
Make sure when you put the trigger pack back on the tube that the tab is above the crosspiece of the tube, not below it, or it won't cock properly most of the time, if at all. |

Thanks Eric,
Turns out the trigger was misadjusted and the tab on the pack needed to be adjusted.
I'll shoot tomorrow to be sure. |
