This all leads me to believe that the gun held (not the 12 guage standing) is definitely a Webley-Vickars from about the 1970s. Anyway, these cousins are not from the north, nor are they from tornado alley. If they were from tornado alley, they would have steel cables or chains attached to cement moorings to keep the house from blowing away. The CSA flag on the dog is a common enough sight even here in the north. But we would have hay bales packed in under the house to keep the pipes from freezing. If these were my neighbors, they would have posed on the rain-soaked sofa on the front porch. Sadly, this is a photo I took and not just another random internet pic. The inhabitants of this dwelling really ice this cake, but I had to take this pic at 6:00am so as not to be conspicuos, so I'm not able to show you what the folks who live here look like. I remember one day driving home I saw a pair of babies ("Irish twins") hanging by their fingertips from a piece of particle board that was propped up against the house. I guess that is like the hick version of a jungle gym. _________________ I done been assisted by the trees and rivers. After a month or two, that trash pile was removed. But the fridge was apparently something they wanted to keep.
