| That about says it. I'm thinking of a springer repeater (don't want to commit to a PCP right now). They claim more power for this one than the 2000, but Pyramyd's reviewer found the one he tested only hitting about half the power they claimed. I've seen several good reviews on Mendoza in general, so i wondered if the bad review was a fluke, or if the gun was buggy, losing air. |

Just to let anyone wondering know, I've decided to go with another rifle. To spend the money, I don't really want to gamble. I was thinking of a repeater for hunting (mostly squirrel). The springer route sounded interesting, but I think I'll settle for a little less power and go with an RWS 850. (in .22 of course). |

Good choice! That'll be about 180/185 Mps (600 Fps) with 14.5 Gr pellets and with good weather. It's got the smoothest cocking I've felt on an Airgun. Beats everything up to something twice as expensive! |

Ya, I considered this rifle some time ago, but ended up "short on funds" so it got put on the back burner. (And I'm kind of a "springer shooter") But the 850 has tons of good reports so...... assuming my kids come through with enough Father's Day money ( ) I plan to get it. If the Father's Day money doesn't come through I'll have to wait till next month. |

| Probably a safe bet to avoid the Mendoza if information is scarce- I've rarely heard anything good about any Mendoza product (in respect to price vs. quality anyways). |

| That's about the same performance as a B-26. |

Opposite to the B-26 you get an 8 shot magazine, and a very well balanced gun.
If you are going to bulk fill it, though, you do get big increase of front weight though. In other words, it will ruin the balance. |
