Welcome to AirGunHome!
We do have a couple of other people from Australia and NZ on here- but only one posts periodically (he may pop up in here sooner or later).
Maybe you can answer a question: Are "White Pellets" or "White Brand" being sold in Australia as well, or only New Zealand? |

Well Eric, I spend a lot of time in a firearms dealership and get to read a lot of catalogues from all the major players in the ammo game but White Pellets, White Box Pellets, they don't ring any bells with me. The best thing for me to do is contact Lewis Reinhold of Beman Australia who is really the airgun Guru of the East Coast of OZ and see if he can shed some light on the subject.
Thanks for the welcome, I'll send Lewis an e-mail now and post his reply when I recieve it. |

| Sorry folks, Lewis has no idea about them, never even heard of anything that fits the description. I will have a poke around in the brochures at the shop tomorrow but I don't have much hope of finding anything. |

| They are made in Europe- but so far the only place that seems to have anyone selling them is in New Zealand (a dealer there is importing them). Obviously these "White Pellet" guys aren't pushing their product very effectively if most people around most of the world haven't heard of them! |

One of our suppliers dropped in for a cuppa and a chat today and as he visits Germany and China to buy all sorts of goodies, including ammo, I quizzed him on White Pellets. He knew of them, was impressed by them and was thinking of importing them to compliment his RWS line but as he didn't have time to visit the factory he didn't place an order.
Will check on that web site and see how things pan out. |

| Don't worry about throwing alot of effort at this: I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with these "White Pellets". I have been talking with the manufacturer of late- so we'll see what happens if I can negotiate a "test" shipment. Importing them anywhere is counterproductive in small quantities. |

I did read on one site where they were looking for dealers, and saying something about 6,000,000 pellets bulk buy.

6 million pellets?
Holy sh!t: thats 12,000 tins of 500 pellets! It's also like 20,000€ worth of their cheapest pellets, excluding carriage/freight costs.
Any idea where you might have seen this? I'm just curious how they rationalized such a large volume as being a "bulk" purchase? Who, other than a PyramidAir or the like would be a) capable and b) willing, to throw $30,000+freight/duties down on a pellet order for a product that isn't widely known or used? Insanity. |

I think you have it right Al- but the price is boogered up and unreadable. I can't imagine anyone rushing out to purchase 10million pellets- anywhere, anytime- for a product line with no known significant customer base in the Western world (I don't think a half-dozen shooters in NZ counts! ). |

Think looking at that site that they have 10,000,000 but will sell them in any volume the customer wants, starting at .65 euro, for the lot, and going up depending on how many you buy, and they are supplied in tins/ carton or pallets.
Thats how I read it Eric
