This is from about 7 years ago according to the date on the YT video

https://www.airgunsofarizona.com/precharged-pcp/fx-independence-.22/

Fill it once then 3 pumps per shot to keep it topped off. The $1600 price tag probably had something to do with it disappearing.

You can get a Crosman 3622 PCP with a hand pump for under $200. How much would it cost to integrate the pump into the rifle?

Found this

Looks like May 6 is the date they are expected to be available.

That $1599 price is a bit steep- but as you pointed out elsewhere, a SCUBA tank weighs alot, and some rifles (i.e. the AirForce products) also weigh a ton once you have their tank and a scope attached. Maybe $1599 is not so terrible if it's a decent rifle otherwise.

That Ascent air rifle- the stock on it doesn't make it look super high-end, but for $299 that may still be worthwhile- hopefully some reviews appear soon- the only "reviews" right now appear to be people re-stating the Pyramyd Air marketing materials.

That's what I'm waiting for, an unbiased review if that is possible.
