The CO2 capsule got stuck so I had to have that fixed and it came back with the cap unscrewable so I had to get that fixed, too. Then it got unscrewable again so I put some oil on it and I was able to unscrew it with a rubber band. I wasn't able to prevent it from getting too hard to screw again, and now the oil and rubber band don't work. How can the Crosman 2240 cap be unscrewed?   Posted: Sat Jun 05, 2021 4:27 pm AirGunEric Site Admin Joined: 20 Jan 2007 Posts: 6908 Location: "Out There" Cap shouldn't be that difficult- sounds like you may have cross-threaded things and your only option to get it out is to use some pliers or vicegrips- check threads on cap and in tube before putting it together again. _________________ ` I'd say "I care."
