I was wondering what would be the best pellet to get maximum penetration on hard targets for my Berretta Storm? Would alloy be better than lead, pointed, hollow point. The Beretta manual says not to shoot pointed or domed pellets. I don't really know the reason. I've fired hundreds of Crossman pointed and hollow point pellets with out any problem with my gun. I'd appreciate any information I can have to what brand and type will be good. |

Hi Welcome to AirGunHome. The reason they do not recommend pointed or round nose pellets is because they may creep forward in the magazine and jam, and with these magazines being made of plastic the pawl and the magazine they can easily be damaged.
