Bit the bullet.today and ordered a QB78 from Airgun Depot, total cost to me will be 94.00, with free shipping.I need a new rifle like a hole in the head, but after reading all the positive reviews, I had to have it!
I like the ability to modify it as I get more experience with airguns. I have a .177 springer, and a Crosman 2240 now. I am the guy who goes out of his way to not buy Chinese,,I bought Cooper snowtires this year because they were made inUSA.
I have been shooting and reloading powder burners for a long time, but I'm so I don't like the.noise or recoil. Plus I can shoot in my backyard. I'll report back after I try it out.[/list] |

Thank you both. My daughter tells me I am technologically challenged? How can that be, I'm here posting on a forum?I'll have to work on posting pictures.
I will report on my progress with this rifle, and airguns in general, but I may have to wait till spring, its 15f outside right now here in Vermont! I will be spending February in Florida, so I think I'll bring it along. |

February in Florida doesn't sound bad. My drill press loses its fastest speed during the winter months because the belt gets stiff (unless I remember to bring the belt indoors from the garage for a while). Once I got the bright idea of shoving the cold belt down the front of my coveralls to warm it up. Happily I am able to learn from my mistakes. |

Re eived my qb78 just before Christmas. All I can say is wow, am I impressed. The fit and finish is wonderful, much better than I expected. Shot it with open sight today, at about 10 yards. Very accurate, very nice rifle. It did take some time to clean the bore, it was very dirty. Wish I knew how to post pictures? Are there any instructions available?
