Living in a small village in Southern Vermont, having problems with English Sparrows, and grey squirrels. Just ordered a Crosman 2240 from Pyramid Air. Hoping it has the power to kill the little pests. Never had a co2 gun before. Need something quiet so as not to alarm the neighbors.
This is Southern Vermont, not to be confused with all the loonies in Burlington. Most of Vermonts problems can be traced directly back to NYC, ala, Bernie Sanders, Howard Dean, and hundreds of other nit wits
We still hunt and shoot here, and are not afraid of guns.
Just last weekend I followed a older gent on a bicycle until it was safe to pass, he had a rifle strapped over his back. Nobody called the police, nobody panicked, nobody got hurt. It looked like a Win 94. Bear season is open, maybe he was going hunting.

Welcome to the forum!
You may want to consider a longer barrel on your 2240 to be able to stabilize it better to hit your birds more accurately (and this will reduce the noise somewhat). |
