New to air guns... Some background on me retired USMC 24 yrs active duty, hunt, shoot pistol competition .45 and .22, reload and shoot archery competition as well so i'm not new to shooting sports but this air rifle is a completely different animal... Here's what I have, RWS 48, Hawke Airmax
4 x 12 scope and I'm shooting Crosman Premier (Domed Ultra Magnum) .22/14.3 grns and RWS Superdome (Field Line .22 / 14.5. Scope is mounted solid on a rail with four screw base ( no scope movement) Problem--can't get it to group, every 4-5 shots a two or three inch flyer pops up. I'm shooting off a solid bench from a Caldwell lead sled, very solid platform. Have shot 100-200 pellets out of new gun. HELP.......

You don't necessarily want a solid rest. Do a search for "artillery hold" and see what happens after you give it a try.

Yep, let it jump. It'll jump the same way every time unless you interfere with it.
