I have read a few horror storys about the lockup chisle failing on them.
I have owned my hw 30s a year n 3 months now and ive fed it 6 tins of cphp n 3 tins rws superdomes and it still locks up tight and takes a good slap on the barrel end to break it open.
Did hw get a batch of bad springs or failure to lube the chisle a little?
If mine ever does act up how do you replace the spring? it looks like its staked in and that could be 1 h&%$ of a job .$305. from pyramyd air and that was with a discount cupon n those buckeye bucks too. that is a lot of money but ive wanted a 30s for years, laid back money n sold some pellet rifles i never shoot to pay for it. it has become my first grab rifle for target shooting and my diana 24 d to5 is next up.both are a nice pair to shoot ,a close match from 2 diffrent companys |
