Hi people
Need a little help! Thinking about buying a Marauder 22cal. (used) has a lot of goodies with it!! One is a 6-24X 50mm FSI Scope I looked them up I find them for around 125.00 !! he want 495.00 for his!! do any of you all know any thing about the FSI scopes?

495 for the gun and scope? First gen Mrod? Have you shot it? Lot of .22 Mrods have accuracy issues that can (usually) be traced to the barrels. I have been seeing a lot of accuracy complaints with the new gen of guns also. Lot of 1star reviews on Amazon for this (FSI) company (12% @ 1 star). Several complain that the "Limited lifetime warranty" is actually just a 30 day warranty. If it's me, I'd say the scope is NOT a selling point of that rifle. If the guy thinks so highly of it, tell him to keep the scope and knock 125 bucks off the price, then buy a UTG (nice) or Center Point 4-16 from Walmart for 70 bucks.
You can score a "refurbished" Mrod, with a warranty for less than 400 bucks. I got my first gen .25 for 350 refurbed. |
