It looks like I get to lead off this week. I was happy that all 24 pellets actually scored.
Score 85/120
Steyr LP1, RWS pellets, one hand, 5 meters, 13 minutes.

Nice shots Woody wish I could be that steady again with one hand. Been meaning to shoot myself but have been too tired lately. Went quadding Sunday all day since last time was last May long, Monday I was feeling pain where I haven't felt it in a long time.
Today I am too bagged to do anything but watch TV. So maybe tomorrow or it'll be later this week. |

LOL! Had to read that twice to see that I didn't explain myself clearly once again.
I promise not to shoot myself. |

Hi Guys,
Been watching this competition for a few weeks and decided I'd like to give it a try. Gonna use my BS HB22 pistol so don't expect much. I just got it about 2 and a half months ago, and it's the first time I've really ever tried to shoot a pistol.
But first, I have kind of an inane question. When you say 5 meters, I draw a line exactly 5 meters from the target. Do I just need to stand behind the line, or stand back far enough so that the muzzle doesn't extend beyond the line.
I know this is kind of silly, but I really don't know.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Cliff
The distance from the target to the firing line should be 10m for rifle and 5m for pistol.
All shots, from whatever shooting position must be made with the competitor wholly behind the firing line but able to touch it.
Basically the shooter should be behind the line but the part of the gun not being held by the shooter can protrude past the line.
I hope that helps, happy shooting.
Al |

Cool idea. On-line match.
One question; do the colors matter? I don't have access to a color printer.
I won't post my target as it is not in the running what-so-ever. This is much harder than it looks.
5M, one-hand, Crosman 2300T, Crosman Premier Super Match 7.9gr, open sights, 12 minutes
27/120 |

Colors don't matter in respect to what you shoot at or post up- as long as you know when you are shooting what colors should be where to calculate the score- that's all that matters (I won't spend the extra on color ink/toner for the targets- but I haven't shot a competition for quite awhile now ).
And, Welcome to AirGunHome.com! |
