I am wanting a good 22 cal air rifle to go Squirrel Hunting this fall with & i will only have around $250 to buy me a good rifle with & the scope doesn't really matter because i will be using my own 3x9x40mm on it . I have been looking at MANY different 22 cal rifles but i am almost dizzy from all of the choices that's on the market so maybe you fellas can help me out in choosing me a good 22 caliber sir rifle
+ i will be needing a good hollow point 22 cal alloy or lead pellets to i have looked but there are so many different kinds it's really a headache |

I have a Benjamin Titan GP that I would trust to squirrel hunt with, and it was only 150 dollars. However, quality control, I have heard, was not great on their production, and I got lucky, with a "good one."
Alloy pellets are junk. You're going to have to buy 10 varieties (or so) of pellet, and find out what you gun likes to shoot the best.
Also, make sure your scope will work on pellet guns. Non-pneumatic air rifle have a violent, if hard to notice, FORWARD recoil that will break rifle scopes so fast you'll want to cry |
