This one is for the newbies that think that they can go down to wally
world and get the same quality of pellet in the tin as is in the corrugated
box.
The main difference is that the ones in the corrugated box are from the same,
new die. They are also cleaner. A lot of people refer to the ones in the tins as
floor sweepings. The head and skirt diameters are more consistent in the
boxed ones.
The tinned pellets give me pretty fair groups with the occasional flyer.
The boxed ones tighten groups and almost never produce a flyer.
When the die for the boxed pellets wears out, is then used to make the
pellets that come in the tin.- from the guy in the ammo room at Crosman. |

That is what I heard. Too bad. Are they going to offer the same pellets in a
different container or is that it for the same die pellets? |

Crosman doesn't tell anyone anything. They are claiming they are the exact same pellets as found in the LDP22 tins- but who knows, really. |

Probably the boxed and tins are the same pel.
I liked the boxed for reasons already stated, same die.
However if one must get them from Wally then buy several tins
from the same shipment. Likely they are the same batch lot. |
