I shot these out of my new Daisy Powerline 880 (I love this gun! Only paid $20 for it @ CAL Ranch). I plan to only use "unleaded" pellets with it (for environmental/health reasons).
Anyway, as you can see in the picture, these pellets can pop through a Sobe Lifewater bottle (couldn't do that with my Marksman "Zombie Splat" BB Repeater rifle), but... the damage was so unique, neither bottle leaks any water! Is that a good thing or a bad thing? :-D

I've had alot of problems keep a good group with PBA ammo. The guns I'm using are 1200 fps break barrels. I get the suspicion that they don't pick up the rifleling as well as lead. If you're getting the results you want, stick with um. |

I have some serious springers and tried the PBA pels just once.
They cracked loud breaking the sound barrier, were nil in accuracy, velocity drops off quickly so there is no real advantage to them at all.
Just my opinion. |
