Howdy all!

Another Nick Newguy here. Grew up on a gorgeous, working farm and huge National Trust property in northern VA. Spent lots of youth w/BB and pellet rifles keeping pigeons out of the hay barns, mice and rats out of the corn cribs and plinking any and everywhere. Family fun often included 12ga shotgun, .22 and 30/30 rifle shooting (including mother and two sisters, all great shots). Regular hunting w/father in local fields and woods (squirrel, rabbit, pheasant, quail, turkey, deer, etc.). Began working for pay (.50/hr) at age 12 and worked until disabled in 1990. Attended Sterling campus NVCC while working FT as stock clerk and computer operator at local hospital. Computer operator, software tech, software engineer, systems engineer, MIS Manager, IT Director at four companies around Sterling, Herndon & Reston, VA until disabled after 4th back surgery in 1990. Got rid of all my firearms decades ago and was absolutely stunned by the accuracy and power of the Daisy 880 I acquired in early 2021 -- I'd had no exposure to pellet rifles since the early 70s. Fifteen airguns later, this is a great hobby for a disabled person! :-) Also love playing mandolin and guitar, listening to and managing huge music collection (LPs, CDs & digital), watching old movies w/the spousal unit, reading, cooking, modeling minis & terrain and more.
