Hello, all
It has been a while since I posted, because I haven't been shooting much since it is winter (allegedly). I've read that every airgun seems to have 'magic pellets' that it shoots better than any others, but so far I have been unable to find which ones my .22 Disco likes. Some of the types of pellets I have tried are:
Crosman premier hollow point
Crosman ultra magnum
Crosman pointed hunting pellet
Crosman destroyer
Crosman red flight penetrators
Crosman piranha hollow point
Predator Polymag (I was very optimistic about this one)
JSB test assortment pack (contained 4 different types)
Beeman fts copper plated
Some of these pellets shot pretty nicely, others did not.
I was just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation with their Disco .22, and which pellets they recommend. I'm at that stage where I'm still finding out more about my rifle, but I'm learning more about it every day, so any tips, tricks, or just general advice about the rifle itself would be much appreciated. Thanks |

JSB Exact 15.9 gr., or the Exact Express 14.3 gr. are the ones mine likes.... If you tweek it a bit, also the 18.1 gr. Exact Heavies....

+1 on the JSB 15.89s, best I've found for my Disco, so far. Good velocity/flat trajectory and go right where I put the crosshairs. I think the H&N FTT domes grouped well, but have a pretty significant change in point of impact from the JSBs, if memory serves. Might be a good one for you to try as well.
Say, how did your Disco respond to the Pirannas? |
