I want to oil my new rifle as per the instructions. It calls for CRM oil I cant find it anywhere and all the places I ask for it they look at me like I grew a 3rd head suddenly..What else can we use for this important maintenance task? I dont want to fire my rifle again untill i have it oiled..I have put over 300 pellets through it since I bought it new..

What are you looking to oil? Are you talking about luring the chamber/seal, or lubing the piston and other moving parts? 300 pellets isn't very many. I believe the instructions say to add a couple drops of chamber lube every 1000 shots or so (which can be ordered from Pyramyd Air, Airgun Depot, etc. some say you can use any 100% silicone oil, like R/C car shock oil, but I've never done this personally). The pivots you can just use any oil really, just use sparingly. Inside the gun, I use a silicone gun oil, but I have used other oils. I just use them sparingly (1-3 drops in the air tube, half way between the piston skirt and the rear of the gun has always worked for me).
