I meant for the targets. I used a flat black and it flaked to much it gave about a 1 inch circle some of the others didn,t show much at all. The fusion showed about the same as the commercial targets. |

I made templates out of thin cardboard with circles cut out set on the taped back ground and sprayed the paint. I also just used masking tape and marked off a grid of squares. This was the easy way to do it and gets the most indivdual targets out of the paper. I also found if you don't shoot them up too bad you can respray and use them again. |

You could even paint up the neighbor's pet or the mother-in-law if you wanted.

O.K., so this is one of those ideas that I just can't leave alone, even though my first attempt was a failure. I tried it again today, with great results. Fusion paint works, but it dries slowly. Ordinary el cheapo spray paint had a few pinpoint fisheyes on the first pass, but they were covered up with the second coat. Primer was the best - good coverage and it dried almost instantly.
I think the difference might be temperature. My first attempt was at 55 Deg. F., and today it's 82 Deg. F. (13C/28C). Presumably Brasil is a warmer place than Minnesota, which might explain why Horvath got it to work.
Anyway, I think with grey or black primer and a warm day it will turn out great. |

Check my last video. Long range with .177 caliber. I tested with other material and.. was amazing.

Wow that looks easy. Just paint right onto the kraft foam or are you still using the inter layer of tape |

I used the tape. I think using the tape as an inter layer still give the best results and cost nothing anyway. |
