compressess the spring more ,mostly just spacers, and guess they help the spring rotate when it compresses and decompresses.

WELL, I dissassembled my phantom again, cleaned the grease out, got some pine tar,and mixed in some liquid moly.Burnished the piston and spring with it, put some liquid silicon in the compression tube ...

is graphit powder the same as moly powder,Cann't find moly powder ANYWHERE , found liquid moly, can i use that instead of powder moly ?

do you use the dry moly powered to mix with the pine tar.what sort of ratio moly to pine tar do you use?

the new spring works great but the pellets are off buy as much as 2 inch over 30ft , ive tryed all the pellets that are around,there all about the same for accuracy,crosman walmart crappytire ones.I c ...

no I didn't do anything else ,Cut 2 inches off ,the catch hole is in about the same place.Didn't do any exact messuring so i might have taken a bit more off.nuthing major though

well i put two 5\16 washers infront of the top hat ,there a little less than 1\8 thick.Now the spring is fully compressed .Still shoots good.A little hard to cock the gun because the trigger just catc ...

I just finished cutting down the piston on my phantom 500 .I work in a machine shop and could get some one to make me up a longer top hat.What would be max for length of a new top hat?
