Range of movement, that was what I was looking for. Think I need to remove and remount the scope and see if that helps.
And or adjust it in the opposite direction to see if the strike point changes. ...

It sound like your scope has given up. You can try taking it apart, but you problably will have to replace it. Hopefully you can get it to work, but I doubt ...

Have you put any oil in the compression chamber?

Oil in the compression chamber, no. I'll have to get the manual out and see where, what kind and how much.

I didn't give you all the information about the problem.

I have shot about two hundred 0.177 pellets since I purchased it, and the louder noise has happened about 4-5 times at ...
