Pretty handy gizmo once a fellow learns how to use it. There is at least one fellow selling 3d printed barrel bands for 13xx, and there was a fellow on the CAF that produced a manual indexing magazine ...

The oring on the detent is all that's needed there. Adding the heavier spring does nothing to improve sealing, and only causes extra drag when rotating the magazine....ie...increases trigger pull.

Fantastic deal on the nightstalker! Got one from a pawn shop as well...had a broken indexer...$40 for the rifle in the box and $3.50 for the part.

Tons of fun, and hard on pellets...don't know why. ...

I don't use salt.

Have a co2 bb pistol that my wife uses in place of a fly swatter...just co2, no bb's. Blasts flys into pieces and does not leave a bloody mess on the windows or walls to clean up. ...

While I'm personally not a fan of spring pistols as I find them difficult (at best) to shoot well...I have heard nothing but good things about the HW 45. Have not found one to try out as of yet though ...

Did some experimenting with barrel choking as well...have yet to verify results by shooting.

Took a piece of 1"dia 1045 ~1" long, and bored through to suit the barrel dia + .001".

This is the one I use...came from an old (1950's?) Popular Mechanics IIRC. It's the only one I've ever seen with drill for 50, 75 and 100% on it. ...
