Not sure who recommended a heavier hammer spring, but basically all they do on a 2240 is waste CO2 and make the gun louder.... It may be driving the piercing pin into the cartridge making it hard to r ...

Got a Crosman 2240 about a month ago. Installed (recommended) heavier hammer spring, bored out transfer port and a steel breech. Put it together and it shot the first cartridge just fine. Went to take ...

My 1389 is a tack driver. At least at 12 yards.

Did some shooting with it for accuracy at 12 yards. And the results were quite nice. With Winchester Domed 9.8 grain pellets I got 1/5th inch ...

Just curious as to why you went from .22 to .177? And also did you convert a pistol into a rifle?

Sorry for the miscount above. I have 4 in the 8 ring, 11 in the 9 ring and 1 in the 10 ring. That means that I have (4*8)+(11*9)+10=141 for that target.

I would take that count any day!

Ok with all of the people that were trying to say that you can not get reasonable off hand shots with the Daisy 880, and no replies???

I get groups of about 0.2 inches at these ranges, and always on the 10 ring of my targets.


Prove it!...and remember you're on the honor system. No shooting from 12" away! After all, we can't ...
