I sent it for repair, but the guy said there's nothing wrong with it. It must have a 30-lb. pumping effort. I wish manufacturers would say the pumping effort. |

I should say the tube under the barrel. When you pull out the pump handle it stays stuck so that you can't pump. I imagine, tho, this isn't something I can fix myself. |

I have a Crosman Powermaster 66 rifle and always found it easy to pump. The Crosman 1322 Am. Classic pistol, however, is hard to pump. (The Backpacker apparently has some kind of defect in the pump.) ... |

And BB's are non-toxic. Pellets are usually toxic as they are lead, so you have to wash your hands after use. There are lead free pellets, but they're not as available and they cost more. |
